Karli Ehl

Karli Ehl is an artist living and working out of Gainesville, Georgia, focused on weaving and drawing. Ehl is interested in the fragility of human interaction and her role in an ever changing and disconnected world. She uses geometric and biomorphic shapes and lines in her drawings to create mental landscapes and make sense of her place in society. She is constantly exploring different materials and how they can change the structure of woven pieces. Pushing the boundaries of the fragility of the warp itself and examining how a pseudo structure applies to a society that is seemingly falling apart. Ehl received her BFA in Textile Design with a Design and Media Minor from the University of Georgia in 2022.
