Dawn Newbern

Dawn resides on the beautiful St. Simons Island, Georgia, with her husband and youngest son. She draws much inspiration from the natural surroundings of the island and from everyday colorful living.

Working primarily in acrylics and occasional collage, Dawn's paintings almost always reflect a fresh, colorful, happy palette with unexpected twists and turns of simple brush strokes and mark-making.

Her favorite subjects are whimsical florals, abstracts and coastal landscapes. She also loves creating her unique style of textile designs and applying them to multiple lines of home decor, clothing and accessories.
