Dana Reese was born and raised in Georgia. She is an evolving artist inspired by her love for old barns, churches, florals and anything from days gone past. She likes making art clients can relate to that may spark a memory and a smile. Her art often leans towards her simple southern Christian upbringing. Dana likes to paint with a very loose feel adding a lot of texture with a pallet knife and big fast brush strokes. Dana likes to brighten up homes with her art. In her own collections she is drawn to folk art and the stories told in the art.
