Brooke Hoogendoorn

Brooke Hoogendoorn is a self-taught Louisiana visual artist. She was born In New Iberia ,La and currently lives and works in Lafayette, La. Brooke’s work incorporates amorphous shapes, lines and color. Although she began her career in figural works, she transitioned into abstraction due to the freedom and versatility of the style.

She enjoys blending colors and shapes to create a visual experience. ​Hoogendoorn’s work can be seen in a number of private collections throughout the greater South. She has shown her work in several galleries and art shows throughout Louisiana and the region.
