Anne Trask

I am a largely self-taught artist who has always felt a need to create. I have dabbled in art throughout my life experimenting with drawing, painting, mixed media, ceramics and silversmithing. For several years, I painted interior faux finishes and murals for clients in and around north Atlanta.

My true love is painting with acrylics. I am inspired by the vibrant colors and organic shapes found in nature. I viewpainting as a way to slow down and appreciate the beauty and detail in the things that surround us every day whether it be in a simple piece of fruit, a flower or a sweeping landscape.

I am also the mother of three grown children and a kindergarten teacher living in Dunwoody, Georgia with my husband Rickne Trask
